A Fair Warning

Question: A 32 year old male is referred to you for hoarseness. He is a heavy smoker and has no intention of quitting. Laryngoscopy demonstrates whitish material on the right true vocal fold, extending to the anterior commissure and partially on to the left true vocal fold. You perform a direct laryngoscopy and biopsy which demonstrates mild dysplasia.
