Question: A 28 year old female undergoes removal of a large CPA vestibular schwannoma. She has neurofibromatosis type II and a large contralateral tumor with poor hearing. The surgeons elect to place an auditory brainstem implant after tumor resection. Where should the electrode pad be situated?
